The July 2016 Tax Bills for the 2015 Grand List cover the assessment year beginning October 1, 2015 through September 30, 2016, but are paid during the fiscal year running from July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017. If a vehicle has been disposed of, sold, junked, or traded, and the plates have been cancelled with the Department of Motor Vehicles, signed proof (with manner of disposal) must be sent to the Assessor's Office or faxed to 860.429.7785.
