Welcome to the Town of Mansfield’s Information Technology Department. The Department's mission is to develop and maintain efficient and cost effective technology systems for the Town and Schools, while providing superior customer service to assure successful utilization.

The IT Department supports both computers and land-line telephones for the Town of Mansfield's facilities and staff.

Free Public Wireless

The Public Library, Community Center, Town Hall, Senior Center, and all six of the Schools are Free Wireless Internet Hotspots. Click here for more information.

Staff Shared Technology Resources

The IT department maintains stand-alone loaner laptops configured with Word, Excel and PowerPoint. The laptops can be checked out to employees for Town business such as a meeting presentation, committee minutes, or off-site work.

The IT department also has a data projector which can be checked out for staff presentations for Town business. Additional data projectors are available at the Mansfield Community Center, the Public Library, and the Schools. A permanently mounted data projector is located in the Mansfield Council Chambers room.

The Town has been installing many networked staff copiers. There are several located throughout the Town. Some of these copiers are also scanners and can be used for creating large packets of material for copying or sending a page or two to someone in a PDF format.
