Co-Sponsored Organizations

The following sport organizations operate under a co-sponsorship status with the Town of Mansfield via Mansfield Parks and Recreation (MPRD).  They primarily operate independently and receive some support services from MPRD.  Groups are responsible for handing their own board of directors, registrations, finances, volunteer coaches, rosters, scheduling and following the criteria of the Town of Mansfield Co-Sponsorship Agreement Policy.

Mansfield Little League

MLL provides organized baseball and softball programs for ages 7-14 and includes spring, fall and clinic programs.

Tri-Town Youth Football and Cheerleading

TTYFCA provides organized football and cheerleading for youth ages 6-15 of Mansfield, Ashford and Willington.  Registration typically begins in late Spring. Contact: Joanne Brita at jbrita@charter.net.  429-4730.

WAM United Soccer Club

WAM (Willington, Ashford, Mansfield) United offer youth soccer programs in the spring and fall seasons, including: Saturday Instructional Clinic for grades 2 and younger; Two alternative programs for grades 3 through 8 that form teams to compete in the Northeast District League of the Connecticut Junior Soccer Association; and pick-up soccer games for grades 9-12.  For additional information please visit the WAM united web page for the Mansfield representative contact information (http://www.WAMunited.com).
