Our Preschool Rooms
The Connecticut preschool curriculum and assessment frameworks are used as the basis for planning learning experiences, observing and documenting child progress and implementing teaching strategies. Preschool curriculum is exciting and dynamic! Carefully planned themes and activities stimulate children to think about their world. These activities include work on self-help, verbal, gross and fine motor skills, reading and math readiness and basic concepts, as well as daily routines that help preschoolers learn to be part of a community. The concept of respect is learned, social interactions are honed, conflict resolution is practiced. Preschool teachers team with parents throughout the preschool experience, effectively solving issues that arise at school and at home.
