15th Annual Celebrate Mansfield Festival:
Sunday, September 16

Join the Mansfield Downtown Partnership in celebrating the best of our community with music, food, and fun on Sunday, September 16 in Downtown Storrs!

The fun kicks off at noon with the Celebrate Mansfield Parade, which will lead the way up Storrs Road from the Storrs Post Office to Betsy Paterson Square. There, visitors will find 100 booths with hands-on fun for all ages hosted by Mansfield businesses and community organizations and UConn departments, programs, and student clubs.

There will be flower-arranging demos, cooking demos, a climbing wall, and inflatables as well as two performance stages. Don't miss our headlining performance at 2:30 PM on the main stage on Paterson Square: Sinkane!

New Request Process for Paterson Square

The Town Council recently renamed the Town Square as "Betsy Paterson Square," in honor of the former Mayor's many years of dedicated service to the Town and, in particular, for her role in creating the Mansfield Downtown Partnership and the redevelopment of Downtown Storrs.

Betsy Paterson Square is available for use for events. The Mansfield Downtown Partnership coordinates the use of Paterson Square. A new request form is available under the "Events" section of the Partnership's website.
