Committee on Community Quality of Life

The Committee on Community Quality of Life is responsible for evaluating and making recommendations to the Town Council concerning quality of life issues within the community. Specific tasks include a review of current and proposed ordinances and regulations designed to promote and protect community quality of life. In conducting its work, the committee consults with various regulatory bodies and stakeholder groups, to generate feedback, ideas and suggestions. The committee is comprised of four members of the town council, one representative from the planning and zoning commission, one representative from the University of Connecticut and five citizens at-large.
