Eastern Highlands Health District -
Public Health Project Specialist
The Eastern Highlands Health District, a local public health district serving ten towns, is seeking a part-time temporary public health project specialist. Primary responsibilities include conducting local public health activities in the areas of community coalition work, community health, and health promotion and providing assistance with program development and implementation.
Bachelor’s degree in nursing, public health or a related field is required, Master’s degree preferred. Experience in community public health, coalition building, community health, assessment, evaluation, and health promotion highly desirable. Excellent communication skills are a must. This is a professional part-time temporary grant funded position. Up to 28 hrs/wk. Hourly wage is commensurate with education and experience. Pro-rated health insurance benefit available.

Handling and lifting various weight and fitness equipment is required. Must obtain and maintain a current CPR & First Aid certification.
