Road Closures and Parking for the 14th Annual Celebrate Mansfield Festival

September 11, 2017 – Storrs Road will be closed from S. Eagleville Road/Route 275 to Mansfield Road from 11:45 AM to 1:00 PM on Sunday, September 17 to accommodate the Celebrate Mansfield Parade, part of the 14th Annual Celebrate Mansfield Festival.

The Celebrate Mansfield Festival will take place on and around Betsy Paterson Square. To accommodate the event, additional road closures will include Dog Lane from Storrs Road to Royce Circle (near Husky Pizza in 9 Dog Lane); Royce Circle from Dog Lane (near Barnes & Noble at Storrs Center in 1 Royce Circle) to Wilbur Cross Way; Wilbur Cross Way from Royce Circle to Elsie Marsh Way (near T-Mobile); and Bolton Road Ext. These streets will be closed beginning at 6:00 AM until approximately 6:00 PM on Sunday, September 17.

Charles Smith Way and all of Wilbur Cross Way will be closed from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM to accommodate the Celebrate Mansfield Festival. Parade participants will gather at the Storrs Post Office.

Parking for the Celebrate Mansfield Festival will be available in the Storrs Center parking garage, which will be free for the day; in the E. O. Smith High School parking lots; in the Mansfield Town Hall parking lot; in the Dog Lane parking lot (behind 9 Dog Lane); and in unrestricted UConn lots. Following the Parade, on-street parking will be available on Storrs Road.

The 14th Annual Celebrate Mansfield Festival will be Sunday, Sept. 17 from noon to 4:00 pm on and around Betsy Paterson Square. For more information about this free community event, please visit downtownstorrsfestival.org or call the Mansfield Downtown Partnership office (860.429.2740).
