New! Circle Singing (Ages 12-Adult)
Circle Singing is an opportunity to explore your singing voice in a safe, informal, and mistake-free environment. Through the use of chant, call-and-response, easy-to-learn songs, and improvisation, a singing circle group is accessible to beginning singers, but can also challenge the experienced vocalist. These gatherings are fun and community building, as well as a chance to gain confidence in singing. Open to all ability levels. Registration required, register for one or all three sessions.
Instructor: Sarah Kaufold is a professional singer and conductor who believes everyone can discover their capacity to sing and how to share their voice. With extensive vocal and choral training, Sarah is experienced in cultivating group singing and instructing vocal technique. She currently directs choirs with Consonare Choral Community, a non-profit choral group based in Mansfield.
