Exploring the String Quartet - FREE Lecture & Concert
 Since its inception in the 18th century, the string quartet has maintained a central role as one of the most important genres in chamber music. From the most intimate personal expression to the most brilliant virtuosity, the string quartet is an infinitely flexible ensemble engaging great composers, performers, and listeners in one of the richest living traditions of music in all of history. Join us for an incredible program of works by Haydn, Kurtág, and Schumann, as well as for an informative pre-concert lecture by Dr. Simon Frisch!
