Marvelous Monarchs

Thursday, May 19, 2022

Join us to learn about their incredible life cycle and migration, threats to their existence, and how to help

Presented by Mansfield resident Galadriel Chilton
Thursday,  May 19 @ 6:30 PM
Buchanan Auditorium
Mansfield Library

For four seasons, Mansfield Center resident Galadriel Chilton, has cared for monarch caterpillars until they transformed into butterflies to learn about these incredible pollinators. In this presentation, she will share her awe of these beautiful creatures including facts about their lifecycle and migration, as well as stories, photos, and videos from her observations. She will include what plants she's noticed tend to attract monarchs and other pollinators in this area, and lessons that she's learned from the monarchs that feel especially poignant in these times.

Note: This presentation is approximately 50 minutes and is suitable for all people of all ages who are comfortable remaining still and quiet for that amount of time.
