Public Hearing on COVID-19 Resident Assistance (Helping Hands) Program

Town staff will hold a public hearing regarding the COVID-19 Resident Assistance Program (aka “Helping Hands”) on Thursday, August 25th at 6:00pm via Zoom.
Topics to be covered by staff will include: program overview, eligible activities, program status, funding status, and expected program end date. In addition, staff from Human Services will be available to discuss alternative programs available to residents when this funding is exhausted. The purpose of this public hearing is to obtain citizens’ views on the community needs relating to preventing, preparing for, and responding to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
There are several ways in which you can participate:
- Log on or call in to the meeting at 8/25/2022 at 6pm and provide comments live during the meeting. The Agenda and Zoom/Call In instructions are included on the Agenda (Page 2).
- If participation from home is not possible, staff can set up a computer for use at Town Hall. Please contact Jillene Woodmansee at 860.429.3341 or firstname.lastname@example.org to make arrangements.
