At 8 pm on Wednesday January 18th our film group will be meeting on Zoom to talk about Chloé Zhao's 2nd feature film The Rider.
After a riding accident leaves him unable to compete on the rodeo circuit, a young cowboy searches for a new purpose. Zhao does a remarkable job of weaving together fact and fiction to tell a story using the people who many of the events actually happened to.
