[ARCHIVED] Paving of Spring Hill and Clover Mill

August 12, 2019

Paving of Spring Hill Road and Clover Mill Road

The Mansfield Department of Public Works has hired a contractor to apply new asphalt to the street surface. The paving project will begin at the Maple Road/Spring Hill Road intersection heading towards Clover Mill Road and will end with the paving of the road to Bicentennial Pond. This work is scheduled for August 13th to August 16th during the hours of 7:00am to 4:00pm, weather permitting.

The top course of asphalt will be completed during the week of August 19th. Driveway aprons will be repaired or installed, as required. This portion of the work may not occur immediately. We ask that you do not park on the road during this effort. You will always have access to your driveway. However, when the equipment is directly in front of your driveway, access may be restricted for a few minutes. Please drive with caution during the course of this work.

We will place topsoil in any disturbed lawn areas and use hydro-seeding to re-establish any turf. This portion of the work will occur a few weeks after all paving is complete.

If you have any questions, please call the Administrative Office at 860-429-3331.
