8/22/2022 – STORRS – Come see the growth of the arts in Mansfield at Lenard Hall, home to the Community School of the arts programs! Mansfield Parks and Recreation welcomes the public to this Grand Re-Opening Event on Monday, August 29 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., located at Lenard Hall, 450 South Eagleville Road in Storrs.

Lenard Hall began hosting individual and group music instruction in the fall of 2019, during the pandemic, lessons were mostly being held virtually and have been transitioning back to mostly in person lessons. CSA dance and visual arts programs have been expanding to the Lenard Hall building. This event is an opportunity to learn more about all CSA programs, tour the facility, meet instructors, see programs in action, and register for lessons and programs. Performances will include the Nutcracker promotional performance put on by Miss Kelly Productions staff, a trumpet duet by the Community Band, a guitar lesson demonstration from new instructor Harry Neumann, and a visual art demonstration from art instructor Nancy Cooke-Bunnell.

The next program season begins after Labor Day, with many programs beginning throughout the month of September. Registration is currently open to residents and non-residents. For questions or additional information, visit www.mansfieldct.cov/csa or call 860-429-3015 ext. 6.
