[ARCHIVED] Seeking Holiday Donations

Every year the Town of Mansfield Human Services Department coordinates a holiday program for identified families who are need of assistance.  Through this community effort, more families in Mansfield are able to feel the giving spirit of the holiday season.  We are currently seeking donors from our community to sponsor Mansfield families, as we are seeing a growing need for support during the holiday season this year.

Are you in need of a suggestion on what to donate for this important community initiative? This year we have had several requests of gifts for preteen and teens. This is a demographic which is too often overlooked during holiday donation efforts. Some of the items being requested for this group are: earphones, phone chargers, sneakers, winter boots, winter coats, hoodies, make-up, and personal hygiene products. Because freedom and independence are extremely important to teens, gift cards are always a favorite choice for adolescents. Therefore, monetary donations are always truly appreciated.

This program depends on the generosity from our community.  If you or your organization would like to send a monetary donation to this program you can do so by making checks payable to: Town of Mansfield/Holiday Fund with “Human Services Holiday Program” listed in the memo area.

Contributions can be dropped off or mailed to:

The Mansfield Holiday Fund
