The Mansfield Arts Advisory Committee is excited to announce the 2nd Annual Mansfield Area Juried Art Show!
Submissions will be accepted January 1 through February 3, 2020.
The exhibition will be presented at the Mansfield Community Center from February 21 through March 31, with the Opening Reception and Awards on March 20th.
The exhibition is open to all artists 18 years of age and older currently residing in the 8 town Mansfield area (Mansfield, Ashford, Chaplin, Columbia, Coventry, Tolland, Willington, Windham). Only two dimensional work will be accepted. The submitted work must be no larger than 18 in. x 24 in. x 2 in. and weigh no more than 15 lbs. The work must be properly wired, framed, and ready to hang. Applications to exhibit will be screened by the AAC on the basis of originality, artistic quality, and suitability for a family setting, for acceptance into the exhibition. A limited number of artworks will be accepted into the final exhibition.
There will be 4 prize categories: 1st, 2nd, 3rd judged winners and a 4th “People’s Choice” award determined by vote of Mansfield Community Center traffic.
