For added fun, make sure to check back regularly for our Boredom Busters series; creating a little community unity as we distract from distancing.

Kicking off on Sunday, April 19th - Celebrating Earth Day! Get ready for a whole week of activities to get you out and busy celebrating our wonderful home!

  • Starting Sunday, watch for the Rainbow Scavenger Hunt challenge! Where will you find the color of the day? Visit a Mansfield park or trail, or make use of your own backyard; send in your photo for a chance at a prize!
  • That adventure not enough to keep you busy? Don’t worry, there’s more. Check out the Mansfield Community Center Facebook from 4/19 to 4/26 for daily earth-friendly and recycled crafts; because after all, eARTh is made of ART! Don’t be shy, we’d love to see what you have made.
  • Still looking for more to do? Check out the Earth Day Clean-up and Composting challenges!

All Rainbow Scavenger Hunt photos must be received by Sunday, April 26th. Submissions may be commented in the MCC Boredom Busters Rainbow Challenge Facebook Event or emailed to RonteyKB@mansfieldct.org. Staff-picks will be shared to Facebook for public vote (4/27-4/30) to determine challenge winners. Please note: by submitting photos to the contest, you agree to let Mansfield Parks and Recreation use your photos in the future.

Looking forward to the next Boredom Buster? Watch for clues of what’s coming next!
