May 3 to 10 - Signs of Hope

Quote of the Day: "HOPE IS THE ONLY THING STRONGER THAN FEAR." -Robert Ludlum - Watch the Mansfield Community Center Facebook for daily quotes!

How are YOU doing, Mansfield Community?

As we all continue to find peace of mind, in the mist of our current situations, let’s keep one another uplifted and hopeful with this weeks #MCCBoredomBuster....Signs of Hope Week-
This week we encourage the families of Mansfield, along with neighbors and friends, to decorate a sign that includes an uplifting message to keep our community hopeful. Signs can be placed outside your home, community parks, or even major roads!

At times like these, whether we’re an essential traveler or a fresh air seeker, we all can use a Sign of Hope!

Share your own creative signs or the ones you’ve spotted around town by commenting on the Mansfield Community Center Facebook or e-mailing! How has the sign positively impacted your day? Are there any quotes that you’re remembering to help you get through this time? We want to know!

ALSO May 3 to 10 - Share Your Spirit Contest! Follow up to May Day Week!

Too add a little fun and community unity, send us a photo of your spring-decorated mail box or front door area along with your street address (optional).  We will post it to our social media sites.  You can also post your photo to the Mansfield Community Center Facebook yourself if you prefer! Families and individuals can drive around Mansfield seeking out shared displays until May 10.  The individual or family who finds the most decorated sites (honor system applies) while traveling around town wins free guest passes at the Mansfield Community Center. Already a member?  Share them with friends, even better! Scroll down for decorating inspiration.

Please note: by submitting photos, you agree to let Mansfield Parks and Recreation use your photos in the future.
