Connecticut Water will begin replacing about 3,200 feet of water main on Old Colony Road and Stafford Road, also known as Route 32, near the Route 44 intersection. The water main being replaced is more than 60 years old. The project is expected to run through August and will cost approximately $1 million. Project work hours will be 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, except for holidays. Construction activity may require lane closures on Stafford Road with alternating traffic. We ask motorists to travel safely through the work zone for the safety of our employees and contractors. Connecticut Water has notified customers along the construction route about the project.
