We have nine single kayaks and 2 paddle boards with paddles and life jackets. The kayaks are 10.5 feet long and weigh about 42 pounds each. The paddle boards are 10.6 feet long and weigh about 26 pounds each.
Reservations (with payment) must be made in writing 48 hours in advance. A $50 deposit check and copy of driver’s license is required at the time of the rental.
Fee: $10 per kayak per day (paddle and life jacket included). $25 per paddle board per day (paddle, life jacket and board leash). Kayaks and paddle boards can go out overnight for an additional $10 fee on top of the rental fee.
Pick up (seasonally) at the Community Center between 6:30a.m. and return by 6:30p.m. Saturday and Sunday pick up and drop off times are 8:30a.m. and return by 6:30p.m. Participants are responsible for the loading, unloading, and transporting the kayaks to and from destination.
Each person utilizing a kayak or paddle board from the Mansfield Community Center must have a signed waiver on file before the equipment may leave the facility. All children under 18 must have a signed waiver by their legal guardian. Waivers are available at the Community Center or online. Print your signed waiver and drop it off upon picking up the equipment, or email the signed waiver form to: mccwaiver@mansfieldct.org before your pick-up time.
