A Letter to the Community from Board of Education Chair Kathy Ward:
Dear Members of the Mansfield Community:
As most of you are aware, the Mansfield Board of Education is involved in the process of selecting a new superintendent of schools to replace Kelly Lyman who will be retiring in June. We are very grateful to Kelly for all that she has done here in the school district for the past seven years and we will truly miss her.
The Board has selected CES Executive Searches to assist us in the search process to find the best candidate to be Mansfield’s next superintendent of schools. We are hosting a survey to gather community thoughts, ideas and input on what qualities and expertise you feel are important for the next superintendent to possess. Your input is critical and valuable, and this information will assist us in our search process.
Please click here to complete the survey now: https://www.ces.k12.ct.us/cf_forms/view.cfm?formID=272
The survey will close on Sunday, November 28. We hope that you will take the time to offer your input. Many thanks.
Sincerely,
Kathy Ward, Chair
Mansfield Board of Education
