FoodShare: Mobile Food Pantry

Mobile FoodShare is a pantry-on-wheels bringing fresh produce and other food to residents. The mobile food truck distributes food at 303 Maple Rd, Storrs, CT 06268 every other Thursday at 11:30 am - noon. No sign up is required. You will need bags to carry your goods to your car.

Condensed Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction

This 6 week class leads the participant in the evidence based course developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn. People who have completed the course report a reduction in symptoms of chronic pain, headache, insomnia, anxiety and anger. The free introductory class and week 1 are required to establish guidelines for the next 5 weeks.
