What do you do with a dress that has a tear or a lamp that no longer works? Bring it to the Repair Café on Saturday, October 12, 2019 from 10 am to 2 pm, at the First Congregational Church, 199 Valley Street, Willimantic. The Repair Café is a FREE event open to the public. Skilled volunteers will repair - or teach you to repair - your broken item.

Stories, songs and simple crafts for young children accompanied by a caregiver.

Our scarecrow contest is open to all ages, families, community & non-profit groups and businesses.There will be prizes for funniest and most imaginative. Scarecrows will be set up on Saturday, October 12th between 10am - 12pm. Check in at the reception desk and they will give you a number to go with your scarecrow. That number should be attached to the scarecrow outside. There will be a box at the front desk at the community center to cast your vote. Judging will take place from October 13th - 27th.

Experience Puccini’s final opera on the big screen! Tickets are estimated at $23, available for purchase at the theater. We will stop for lunch at Rein’s Deli before the show. Register at the office to reserve your spot.
