MPL Book Discussion Group

Mansfield Public Library’s Book Discussion Group has been meeting regularly since December 1996. We usually meet on the 2nd Tuesday of the month 6:45 to 8:00 p.m. Although we don’t always like the same books, we always find something to talk about and usually something to laugh about, too. Our group continually welcomes new members. If you can only come on a “drop-in, drop-out” basis, that’s fine with us. If you haven’t finished the book, don’t worry about it! In April, we we meet earlier for a longer meeting. We enjoy a potluck supper, share book suggestions, and decide on the list for the coming year. Copies of all books will be available at our library.

Out of the Blue Pregnancy and Postpartum Support Group (Buchanan Auditorium)

This group is for pregnant and new moms who would enjoy a confidential place to talk about all things motherhood brings about. Babies welcome, and open to area towns.

Shopping Run

We offer routed shopping and library runs each month. Stops include Big Y, Stop & Shop, Walmart, Price Chopper and the Mansfield Public Library. Please contact 860-487-9870 to reserve your spot.
