  2. MPL Book Discussion Group

    February 11, 2020, 6:45 PM - 8:00 PM @ Mansfield Public Library

Mansfield Public Library’s Book Discussion Group has been meeting regularly since December 1996. We usually meet on the 2nd Tuesday of the month 6:45 to 8:00 p.m. Although we don’t always like the same books, we always find something to talk about and usually something to laugh about, too. Our group continually welcomes new members. If you can only come on a “drop-in, drop-out” basis, that’s fine with us. If you haven’t finished the book, don’t worry about it! In April, we we meet earlier for a longer meeting. We enjoy a potluck supper, share book suggestions, and decide on the list for the coming year. Copies of all books will be available at our library.

  3. Out of the Blue: A Group for Moms

    February 11, 2020, 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ Mansfield Public Library

Out of the Blue is a group for pregnant and new moms. The purpose of the group is to create a safe space where mothers can share their thoughts and feelings, discuss challenges, and receive support from other moms. The group is a great place to meet other mothers with babies the same age, make new friends, and obtain information and resources. The group environment is safe, supportive, non-judgmental, and confidential. This group is free. Babies are welcome. Drop-ins are welcome, and encouraged. *Please note that the group will mostly meet in the Buchanan Auditorium adjacent to the Library. If the Buchanan is not available, the group will still meet inside the Library, in their Program Room or Children's Section.
