Location: 221 Warrenville Road (Route 89), Mansfield Center, approximately one mile from the intersection of Route 89 & Route 195 (Click here for a map & driving directions).
Use the transfer station in place of collection service or to supplement it. Not all waste (such as sofas and demolition debris) and recyclables (such as large metal items and electronics) are collected curbside. Transfer Station Use Study (June 1, 2006)
Bring some form of identification with you that shows you are a Mansfield resident. A license or utility bill is fine.
Transactions are cashless. Credit cards, debit cards and checks are accepted.
Fee waivers are available for income eligible transfer station users.
Call to action! Mansfield's residential waste has increased. In fiscal year 2019 the amount of waste made that year per person was 468 pounds. In fiscal year 2021 it rose to 502 pounds per person per year. Preventing wasted food, recycling and composting can trim your waste footprint.

Transfer Station Recycling
The transfer station accepts all the recyclable items collected curbside, plus many more. The attendant will show you where to place each item. We do not charge for several of the items we recycle.
