2025 Summer Kick Off Pizza Party: Take-And-Make-Your-Own Pizza Kits are back again! Mansfield Youth Services is teaming up with Pizza 101 again to deliver some fun to families with Make-Your-Own Pizza Kits! Pizza kit pick up will be on the last day of school, Monday June 16, 2025 from 3pm-5:30pm at the Mansfield Senior Center (303 Maple Road, Storrs, CT 06268). Please note, as of 6/6/25, all pizza kits have been spoken for.

Mansfield Mustangs: NEW THIS YEAR-OPEN TO MIDDLE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS! The Mansfield Mustangs are a youth-driven service learning group for Mansfield youth entering grades 5-12. Members will participate in community service projects in-and-around Mansfield with a focus on nature, animals, and supporting sustainability. Group meets on Mondays (Middle School) and Wednesdays (High School) 9:30am-1:30pm from July 7, 2025-August 13, 2025. Please note as of 5/19/25, the Middle School group is FULL and the High School Group is almost FULL.

Great Outdoor Adventure Learning (GOAL): GOAL is an adventure-based learning and positive youth development program for rising Mansfield 9th grade youth preparing to transition into high school. Youth have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities such as including hiking, canoeing, swimming, ropes courses and a variety of community and character building activities to develop self-confidence, social connectedness, and resilient responses to new adventures and situations. GOAL is a challenge-by-choice program in which individuals set goals for themselves and as a group in the adventure activities. They have the opportunity to start small for skills-assessment and experiential learning before moving on to more intense experiences if they so choose. GOAL isn’t just about completing physical tasks but also interpersonal ones. GOAL meets on Tuesdays 9:30am-2pm from July 8th, 2025-August 6, 2025. Slots still available, register now!

Summer Teen Center Drop in Hours:

Friday morning drop-in hours for youth 5th-12th grade at the Mansfield Community Center Teen Center, staffed by Mansfield Youth Services from 10am-12:30pm from June 20, 2025 through August 15, 2025. (Note: No staffed hours on July 4, 2025). Lunch provided on Fridays at the teen center if you arrive by 11:30am! No pre-registration needed, just drop in!

Summer Teen Center Events:  Thursday morning events at the Teen Center! Some on-site activities and some off-site trips!  Events will be Thursday mornings from June 26, 2025-August 14, 2025 at the Mansfield Community Center Teen Center (activities held off site will meet there and Youth Services staff holding Public Service Drivers License Endorsements will provide transportation). Early Childhood Playgroup - June 2025: Play group will be held during the month of June on Wednesdays from 4:00-5:00pm at the Mansfield Community Center Playground. Drop in and hang out with Mansfield Youth Services' Early Childhood Coordinator and other local families, no registration required. Recommended for ages 0-5, adults required to stay and be responsible for supervising their child(ren). Mansfield Youth Services will bring additional materials for play!
