Youth Services School Year Programs

In anticipation of logistical pandemic challenges for the second half of the 2021-2022 school year, Mansfield Youth Services has adapted our mentoring programs to help maintain consistency in uncertain times. While we will miss our Cope and Big Friends mentoring programs this semester, we're still committed to opportunities for positive youth development and mentoring.

Grub Club Lunch Groups, led by Youth Services staff and interns, will happen at the three elementary schools during the previously scheduled Cope lunch mentoring program.

Mentoring programs will be offered virtually to play games, do arts and crafts, and connect with amazing and caring volunteer mentors from the UConn Office of Community Outreach. Elementary aged youth will get to do a mix of crafts and games with UConn mentors on Thursday afternoons. Middle school youth will get to choose between two group mentoring options (games OR arts and crafts) on Tuesday afternoons.

X-Block Check In Group, MY Voice, MY Pride, and Mother Daughter Circle will continue to meet as scheduled.

Check out each program's link for more information and fillable registration forms!
