Student Support Services
Welcome to the Mansfield Public Schools Student Support Services website!
The Mansfield Public Schools is committed to ensuring deep learning, knowing students, and supporting the whole child. We believe that all children must have the opportunity to learn and develop in a safe, inclusive environment.
The mission of the Student Support Services department is to collaborate with students and families to provide equal access and equal opportunities for all Mansfield students in the least restrictive environment. Our school community offers a continuum of support to meet every student's needs.
We value our families as partners in providing an enriching environment for all students.

Are You Concerned about Your Child’s Development?
Please Register for a Screening May 27 or May 28 2026
Mansfield Public Schools, in partnership with the community, actively participates in an initiative called “Child-Find” which works to identify and serve children in the community who may be delayed developmentally. This is a nationwide effort mandated by the federal government to support children and early learning.
One of the ways Mansfield “finds” children who need services is to run a screening once a year. This year’s screenings will be held at Mansfield Elementary School on:
Wednesday, May 27 and Thursday May 28 by appointment only
If you are a Mansfield resident and have concerns about your child’s development please click on this link to select a time for the Child-Find Screening:
Select a time: Mansfield Child Find Screening Appointment
(**The link above to schedule will be opened in the second week of May 2026**)
What will happen at the screening? The screening lasts about 30 minutes and includes the following:
● An observation of play skills, social interaction, and language skill
● A parent interview
Children aged 3 and 4 years are eligible for the screening (child must be at least 3 years old by the first day of school - 8/27/26)
