Notifications of Closings/Delays/Early Dismissals/Emergency Messages
If it becomes necessary to close or delay school due to inclement weather or other reasons, the decision will be made by the Superintendent on the basis of the best information available. Notifications will be made by SMS text and email. This notification system is also used if there is a need for an emergency message (in rare cases we may need to do a robocall as well).
- The District will use school messenger to send a SMS Text and Email announcing school closing and delayed opening/early closing to families using the contact information stored in our PowerSchool student information database. - In order to receive the text, a family must first do a one time "accept" to allow your cell phone to receive the text messages. Text the word YES to 67587 and you will be enrolled for future text messages (if you are one of the primary contacts for a child in our PowerSchool student information database). Please be sure to complete this one time "accept" to ensure that we can reach you.
