Precor treadmills, elliptical machines, cross trainers, recumbent bikes, upright bikes, Kaiser spin bikes, rowing machines offer excellent quality and optional cardio theater on most units.
Choose to workout in air-conditioned comfort overlooking either the beautiful aquatics area, the maple floored gymnasium or within our warm and bright main fitness area. Our knowledgeable attendants will ensure that you are fully comfortable with any cardio machine you want to use. The center offers well-maintained, single circuit strength equipment by Icarian. A full offering of stations will challenge both beginner and advanced conditioned members. We also offer a variety of free weight areas, resistance bands, stability balls, TRX, Kettlebells and medicine balls.
Our knowledgeable fitness assistants are available at all hours to help you with using equipment safely and efficiently and personal training services are readily available.
Wilcox & Reynolds Walking/Jogging Track
Made possible by a generous donation from Wilcox and Reynolds Insurance Company, the elevated 2-lane rubber surfaced track offers a comfortable place for year-round walking and jogging. It offers protection from inclement weather; including air conditioning during the hot and humid summer months. You and your family can enjoy pleasant views of the outdoors and the University of Connecticut South Campus while you over look the maple wood floor gymnasium below. The track is 17 laps to a mile on the outside lane and 19 laps to a mile on the inside lane. Special family track hours are available.
Please note—parents must run or walk beside their children at all times and follow all posted policies regarding use of the track.
Family Track Hours: Monday-Friday 12-8:30 pm
Saturday 7 am - 4 pm
Sunday 8 am-4 pm
Summer Hours: Monday - Friday 12-8 pm
Saturday 7am - 2 pm

This versatile room is perfect for aerobics, Pilates, yoga, and spinning classes. It is also used for dance classes and provides a free space for members to stretch, complete core work or other individual workout needs.
This bright space has a high cathedral ceiling and plenty of room for up to 14 spinning bikes, stability balls, yoga mats, aerobic steps and all the necessary equipment needed for the most popular group exercise classes.

Our Certified Personal Trainers will a complete a fitness assessment and design an individualized program to meet your health and fitness goal. You will gain the knowledge and experience to approach your fitness program with confidence and enthusiasm.
Whether you require assistance with exercises for athletics, rehabilitation, weight loss, or you just need extra motivation and challenges to keep you going, the personal trainers at the Mansfield Community Center can help. We offer individual and small group personal training sessions. Individual sessions begin at $55.00 per hour.
