Dog licensing is due
June 1 - June 30
Late fees apply starting July 1
Licenses cannot be renewed until June 1
Pay Online
Online payment available only with proof of current rabies vaccination. Minimum $1.00 vendor service fee applies. License and tag(s) will be mailed to your address on file after payment and related documentation have been verified. Pay online here.
Rabies Vaccine Requirement
The rabies vaccine must be 1) current at the time of licensure AND 2) not expire before 7/1/2022. A dog cannot be licensed in the State of Connecticut until the Town Clerk has received the correct fees AND has received documentation of valid rabies vaccination.
New rabies vaccination documentation (photo, PDF etc.) may be emailed to dogs@mansfieldct.org.
If the rabies vaccine expiration date on the reminder postcard you received from the Town Clerk is current, no further proof of rabies vaccine is required.
Spay/Neuter Documentation
A dog cannot be licensed in the State of Connecticut until the Town Clerk has received the correct fees AND has received documentation of spay/neuter, if applicable.
New spay/neuter documentation (photo, PDF etc.) may be emailed to dogs@mansfieldct.org.
New Dogs
New dogs must (choose one): a) pay online, b) submit a New Dog Registration Form and mail a check or c) send their owner to the Town Clerk’s Office to register and license them in person.
